Robert (Bob) Louis Ferrarini of Chicago, Illinois passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 94. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Bob was born in Chicago on August 5, 1927. He served in the US Navy until the end of World War II. Because he did not complete his full two years of service, he was drafted into the US Army. He attended Loyola University in Chicago and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Bob worked for the federal government in finance.
He met the love of his life Rosemary Kreuser (Ferrarini) in 1964, and they married in 1966. Bob moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1970 and spent the rest of his life there. He was an avid and loyal fan of both the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame. Bob loved to play poker and gamble in Nevada. Traveling across the country was a great passion of his life. He and Rosemary shared an unforgettable trip to Ireland and Scotland. Bob was a member of the 4th degree of Knights of Columbus. He was a dedicated member of Holy Apostles Church.
Bob is survived by his wife, Rosemary Ferrarini, children, Della Hanson and Anita Stroh (Robert Stroh), his sister, MaryAnn Bobrowski; and three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hanson, Ashley Hanson, and Alexander Stroh. He is welcomed into the Kingdom of heaven by his parents and brothers.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 am at Holy Apostles, following with a Mass at 10 am on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Bob’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
