Robert N. Page

Bob, age 78, passed away on February 13, 2014. He was born and raised in Colorado Springs and resided there all his life. He was a plumber by trade and worked for Ute Plumbing & Heating for almost his entire plumbing career.

Bob was born on March 7, 1935 to Robert M. Page and Esther (Carlson) Page in Colorado Springs, CO. His mother passed away when Bob was 13 years old. Bobby was brother, mother, and father to Jim and Patti, his siblings, after Esther’s passing. Bob’s dad remarried on August 10, 1952 and Vera Campbell became Bob’s mom.

He attended Colorado Springs Palmer High School and graduated in 1953. He served in the United States Navy for four years. On December 14, 1957, he married Lynne Rodgers in Colorado Springs, CO.

Bob was fond of softball and pitched on several softball teams for nearly 30 years. He also enjoyed fishing and was a fan of NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his loving wife Lynne; his children: Jeff and Troy; his siblings: Jim Page and Patti Shrader; his grandchildren: Laurel, Carly, Bradley, Corey, Ashley, and Cassidy; and his great-grandchildren: Alex, Lylith, and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his sister Jacque Campbell and his brother Jon Campbell.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21 at Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs. A reception will be held at the chapel following the service.
