Robert Stanley Weber, a Colorado Springs resident for 51 years, passed away January 13, 2014. He was an Electronic Technician and a United States Navy Veteran.

He was born on September 21, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York to August Irving and Helen Elizabeth (Pawlak) Weber. He married Helen Kluger on March 1, 1948 at Saint Stephens Lutheran Church in Brooklyn, New York.

He was very outgoing; a typical Brooklyn New-Yorker. He loved and built model airplanes and enjoyed flying them. He was a member of the USS Caloosahatchee Reunion Association. He also loved dogs. He encouraged his children to live their dreams.

He is survived by his son, Eric (wife Bobbie) Weber; his son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Massaro; three grandchildren: Cameron Massaro, Marshall Massaro, and Lindsey Weber; and two great-grandchildren: Rylan Massaro, and Kieran Massaro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Kluger Weber; and his daughter, Cheryl Lynn Massaro.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 with a funeral service following at 10:00 a.m. all at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
