Robert “Bob” Weisser
Robert “Bob” Weisser, 62, of Colorado Springs, passed away on November 3, 2012. Bob was born on August 16, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Nathaniel and Eleanor (Matyas) Weisser.
After graduating high school, Bob worked his way through college as a cab driver in Manhattan. He received his Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and worked as an IT Manager at Progressive Insurance Company, specializing in disaster recovery.
In his spare time, Bob enjoyed running and exercising with his dogs.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Judith; daughters, Amanda and Jennifer, and his sister, Susan Weisser.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 11:00a.m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Donor Alliance of Colorado, 720 S. Colorado Blvd., Ste 800, Denver, CO 80246.
