Roland Anthony Manzo
December 18, 1954 – November 1, 2018
Roland Anthony Manzo, 63, passed away on November 1, 2018. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for over 20 years and was formerly a resident of Uxbridge, Massachusetts. Roland was an Offset Pressman and also worked in the bindery department. His employer, Progressive Services, stated that Roland was a very hard worker and a “do whatever it takes to get the job done” kind of employee. He would be a valuable asset to any company.
Roland was born on December 18, 1954 to the late Samuel Manzo Sr. and the late Gertrude M. (Blanchard) Manzo in Milford, Massachusetts.
Roland was fond of photography and took some beautiful photos of wildlife, flowers and mountain scenery. He attended the Blackstone Valley Vocational Technical High School and graduated with honors in 1973. He served in the United States Coast Guard for 4 years and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the Coast Guard Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal.
He is survived by five siblings: Richard A. Manzo Sr. of Colorado Springs, Samuel Manzo Jr. of Hudson, Massachusetts, Helen Fontain of Punta Gorda, Florida, Jerry Manzo of Greenfield, Massachusetts and Tony Manzo of Whitinsville, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret DeGuzman of Aloha, Oregon, and father, Samuel Manzo Sr. and mother, Gertrude M. Manzo of Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
Our family wishes to thank all of his faithful friends who looked after him like family, you have our eternal gratitude. Interment was private.

21 Nov 2018Uncle Roland and I had a lot of fun when we were teenagers. I will always remember him and those times together very fondly. He will always have a special place in my heart. Rest easy Uncle.
