Romona was a longtime member of Colorado Springs First Church of the Nazarene. She was highly regarded for her musicianship as a piano accompanist. She was greatly appreciated for her engaging gifts of storytelling that nearly always turned on her self-deprecating humor.

A visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the Shrine of Remembrance. A private graveside service will be held for family members only. A memorial service for friends and community will be announced at a later date.
