Saundra McCain, age 63, passed away on December 25, 2023. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for two years and was formerly a resident of New York City and Georgia. She was an accountant, model, and businesswoman for 30 years.
Saundra was born on November 8, 1960, to George D. Austin and Eloise L. Crider in Brooklyn, New York.
Saundra was fond of art, music, fashion, and friendships. She also enjoyed movies and dedicated her life to her children. She attended Mount Vernon High School, graduated in 1978 and went to College at SUNY College where she received her associate in accounting.
She is survived by her children: Nickeyia McCain, Michael McCain (Stephanie McCain), Iory Bethune, and Cheyenne Bethune; her siblings: Renetta Jackson and Wallace Crider; her grandchildren: Nefiteri, Marques, Dejuan, Xavier, Michael, Jeremiah, and Solei.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eloise Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm MST on December 30, 2023, at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A reception will be held following the memorial at the McCain residence.
