Santiago Gonzales, age 75, passed away on 06/11/2021. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for52 years, he worked in construction when he first moved to Colorado Springs, and moved on to housekeeping later on.
Santiago was born on 05/14/1946 to Prospero Gonzalesand Delphina (Salas) Gonzales in Ordway, Colorado. On 01/20/1967 He married Maryellen Mestas in La Junta Colorado.
Jim was fond of yard work and gardening, and working on his cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking and grilling food for everyone. He served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife Maryellen Gonzales his children; Carrie Gonzales, Santiago Gonzales Jr, Christine Pagani, his siblings Johnny Gonzales, and Cecilia Noe. He had 10 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
The memorial service will be held at The Shrine of Remembrance on 07/11/2021 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. A reception will be held following the memorial, at 929 North Murry Blvd from 2:00pm to 5:00pm
