Sarah “Sally” H. Timpe passed away on August 28, 2019. She was born October 2, 1934 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Sally was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado since 1978.
In 1961, she married LTC Martin F. Timpe in Colorado Springs. She worked as an Air Force registered nurse and was a homemaker for the last 57 years. Her hobbies included playing Bingo and bowling which she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley; brothers, Paul and Bobby; and her husband, Martin, who passed away in 2000.
Survivors include her son, Scott Timpe; daughter, Carol Ketchum; brother, Jimmy Schnurr; sister, Carol Lebosky; and 4 grandchildren: Ryan, Kaley, Nicole, and Natalie.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Blvd. Inurnment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Old Glory Columbarium.
