Shirley Ann Kazmiryk, age 75, passed away on October 21, 2014. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 20 years. She was an Administrative Assistant with Boeing.
Shirley was born on March 10, 1939 to Nicholas and Sophie (Sawka) Hnatusko in Scranton, Pennsylvania. On August 22, 1959 she married Theodore Kazmiryk in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Shirley was fond of crafts such as making cards by using stamps. She also enjoyed Gardening, and had an appreciation for knitting. Shirley was a mother who loved unconditionally.
She is survived by her children: Ted Kazmiryk, Jr., Cheryl (Steve) Ziegler, Ken Kazmiryk, and Michelle (Brad) Magnuson; her five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Nicholas and Sophie Hnatusko.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will be held following the services at the family’s home.
