Survived by his wife, Sherry Hillstrom; two sons, Mike Hillstrom, and Jeff Hillstrom; a daughter, Kellie Tanous; and his 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Celebration of life service, 1 p.m. Sept. 21, Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. There will be a reception immediately following the services at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 S. Union Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
