Stephan E. Carpenter, our loving patriarch, was called home by our lord and savior on November 5, 2022. He was a Colorado Springs native, born August 12, 1953. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time in the mountains. He was very family oriented and valued any time spent with his loved ones.
His legacy lives on through his loving wife of forty-seven years, Irenia; his two daughters: Shelly (Carl) Martinez and Sara Carpenter; his brother, Jeff (Annie) Carpenter; his sister, Linda (Mike) Smith; his five grandchildren: Veronica, Anjelika, Erika, Concessa, and Dadrian; two great grandchildren: Brezlyn and Stephan, with a third due in July. He was greeted at the gates of heaven by his oldest sister, Sandy Bertram; and his parents, Floyd and Edna Carpenter.
Please join us for a Memorial Service at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00pm. A reception will follow at his daughter, Shelly (Carl)’s residence.

13 Nov 2022My deepest condolences to the Carpenter family. He was definitely the most humble, wonderful & busiest person I knew. Every time I’d see him he was working on something whether it was painting, fixing something or even doing home improvements he was always hard at work. Mr. Carpenter will be truly missed.
