Stephen R. Carpenter

Stephen R. Carpenter, a resident of Colorado Springs for 48 years, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012. He was a Physical Therapist.

Stephen was born on October 22, 1949 to Archie and Betty (Towne) Carpenter in South Beloit, Illinois. He was very spiritual and was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church. He was also fond of practicing Reiki. He enjoyed reading and writing and he loved going to Mueller Park.

He is survived by his parents; and his three sisters: Judith Robinson, Jennifer Carpenter, and Ellen Barry.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012 at First Lutheran Church, 1515 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Stephen’s name may be made to First Lutheran Church.
