Steven Muniz ,55, passed away on November 21, 2017. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 15 years and was formerly a resident of Fountain, Colorado. He was a meter reader with the City of Fountain.
Steven was born on August 12, 1962 to Lee Muniz and Louise (Wade) Muniz in Colorado Springs, Colorado. On February 12, 1983 he married Brenda Archuleta-Muniz in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Steven was known for making people laugh and was so much fun to be around. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Archuleta-Muniz; his children: Stephanie Mondragon (Geoffrey Mondragon), Steven Muniz III, and Jelena Muniz; his mother, Louise Muniz; and his loving grandchildren, Alexia Mondragon, and Christopher Mondragon.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Muniz Jr.; his father, Lee Muniz; his sister, Becky Muniz; grandparents, Joe and Leida Muniz; aunts, Debbie Colon, and Shirley Rodriguez.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A reception will be held following the services at 4 p.m. at VFW Post 3917, 4715 Clearview Drive Colorado Springs, Colorado 80911.
He will be truly missed.
