Suki Mihalko, age 60, passed on into eternal life on August 16, 2012. She was born September 3, 1951 in Chung Nam, Korea to Lee Chang Jae and Kim Bong Soon. Suki was one of six children; two currently residing in the United States and three in Korea.
Suki was married to Michael J. Mihalko on May 6, 1972 and immigrated to the United States that same year. She was a loving mother and gave birth to her only son, Mitchell in 1975.
Suki was a long time resident of the Colorado Springs area. She was a former beautician and had built a successful business in the area. She was a strong believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Suki is survived by her loving husband, Michael; her son, Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Jennifer; and her grandchildren: Sara, Jaron and Bransen. She is preceded in death by her father, Lee Chang Jae.
Suki was well known for her gentle spirit and kindness of heart. She gave everything of herself and took very little. Everyone who had the opportunity to know Suki, knew of her generosity and love.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow services. Private inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
