Tenly Ann Shull
October 19, 1956 – September 21, 2012
Tenly Ann Shull, age 55, a 26 year resident of El Paso County, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012 at a local care center. She was a technical support person for the El Paso County Help Desk, a homemaker, an amazing mother, sister, daughter, and grandma.
Tenly Meenan was born on October 19, 1956 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a 1974 graduate of Woodland Park, High School and attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado. She was a woman of great generosity who never gave up. She will best be remembered for her smile and her inspiration to others.
She is survived by her loving son, Cory (wife, Chelsa) Shull of Colorado Springs; her parents: Tim and Sandy Meenan of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania; her brother: Tim (wife, Jill) Meenan of Tallahassee, Florida; two sisters: Tristine Meenan of Manitou Springs and Tracy (husband, Tracy) Klebe of Woodland Park, Colorado. She has two wonderful grandchildren, Tayly AnnMarie Shull and Kinnis Mia Shull.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard. Cremation is planned.
Memorials in Tenly’s name may be made to the Shull children’s educational fund in care of the family.
