Terence “Terry” Lee Steed passed away on October 30, 2016. Terry was a resident of Colorado Springs for 21 years and worked as a defense analyst at NORAD-USNORTHCOM.
Terry was born on April 14, 1954 to Herman Steed and Margaret (Hancock) Steed in Swindon, England. On October 25, 1975 he married Jeane Elaine Chapman in North Little Rock, Arkansas. They were married for 41 years.
Terry was often found in his garage, as he had a love for vintage motorcycles. He enjoyed trips with his wife, having a beer with friends, ATV rides, and watching Broncos football. He earned his master’s degree at Webster University, and served as a tanker in the US Army for 24 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeane; his two daughters, Alexa Steed, and Lauren Steed Sieber; his mother, Margaret Steed; and his aunt, Valerie Hancock. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Steed.
