Terrence “Terry” Lee Fleming, 68, passed away on Oct. 28, 2024. He was a resident of Colorado for 51 years and was formerly a resident of Kewanee, IL. He was a United States Army veteran as well as a retiree from the United States Post Office.
Terry was born on Feb. 20, 1956, to Edward A. and Bernadine F. (Verschage) Fleming in Kewanee, IL.
Terry married the love of his life, Rhonda, on Aug. 22, 1981. They were blessed with 43 years of marriage and adventure. Terry loved having family close and partaking in the kids and grandkids’ activities. He enjoyed camping, fishing, darts, and spending time with friends along the way. Terry was known to be a hard worker and loved by many, always going out of his way to help others. He was a devoted husband, father, and Papa.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda; children: TJ (Suzi), Chad, Tiffany (Keith), and Jason; grandchildren: Rhiannon (Nathan), Christian, Bryttany, Brett, Scott, Jayde, and Hunter; great-grandchildren: Nevaeh and JayLynn; and siblings: Michael (Deanna), Janice (Alvin), and Kenneth (Janice). He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings: Francis, Fred, Steven, and Julie.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
