Tex W. Leute
Tex W. Leute, age 69, a Cascade resident for 43 years, passed away on December 19, 2012 at his home as a result of multiple myeloma. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Tex William Leute was born on August 10, 1943 in Adrian, Michigan to the late George and Anita (Hogan) Leute. He worked for the City of Colorado Springs for over 30 years as a project coordinator for Colorado Springs Utilities. He enjoyed hunting and traveling.
His family was his life and he was a man full of love and compassion for others.
Tex is survived by his wife: Pat of Cascade, Colorado; his sons: Adam (wife, Karen) of Divide, Colorado; and Brent (wife, Terri) of Longmont, Colorado. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Zach, Garrett, Luke, and Molly; and a sister: Sandra Kelly of Leesburg, Florida.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow services at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard. Cremation is planned.
