Ted Ray, age 43, passed away September 9, 2019 in Colorado Springs. He was born April 8, 1976 in Frankfurt, Germany, but lived most of his life in Colorado Springs. He graduated from Doherty High School then from UCCS with a degree in Environmental Sciences and Geography.
His childhood love for toys that required construction, such as Transformers, led to a career in internet security and computer science as well as hobbies involving Legos and cars. But there was an artistic side to Ted as well. His family and friends recognized his talent for illustrative drawing and photography. Numerous paintings and framed pictures of his adorn their walls.
Ted is survived by his parents, Ted Jr. and Linda Ray; his brother, Terry Ray; and his niece and nephew, Camille Ray, and Ben Ray, who he considered to be his buddy.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for 2 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, Colorado.

13 Nov 2019Mr and Mrs Ray,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Ted D was my best friend in school. I can still remember his first day at Russell. Ted, Jeff and I all ran together in junior high and high school. Heck, Ted and his Dad helped me fix my car at one point. I have so many great memories. I will always cherish our time together.
