Theresa “Terre” Louk, age 54, passed away on July 31, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on December 14, 1968, to Frederick Burton Louk II and Suzan Carol Curtis in Redondo Beach, California.
She was a resident of Woodland Park for 37 years and graduated Woodland Park High school in 1987. She was employed by the City of Colorado Springs as a Senior Analyst for the human resources department.
Theresa was a world traveler, stitchery artist, quilter, and had a passion for movies, reading and Notre Dame Football. She was a small business owner traveling all over the United States selling hand pieced original works of art.
She is survived by her mother, Suzan Curtis; her father Frederick Louk; her siblings: Michael Louk, Jennifer Garmong; her grandmother; Betty Jean Curtis, age 100; her aunt, Mona Rossi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Willard L. Curtis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at The Shrine of Remembrance, “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Inurnment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Columbarium of Hope.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Theresa’s name to the Shriners Hospital for Children and the Tim Tebow Foundation.
Terre was sent to Heaven with more love than our hearts can hold.
