Thomas Edwin McMenamin
5 February 1952 – 10 August 2015

An amazing man left us this past Monday night, Thomas E. McMenamin. A father, grandfather, and brother. He loved his family unconditionally, and was a remarkable friend to many. An all-around great, loving, knowledgeable, intelligent, patient, and kind person. He touched many lives in a wonderfully positive way.

He was born in Pasadena, California to a large German and Irish Catholic family. Most of his youth was spent in Southern California. He traveled all around North America and lived in Japan for four years, eventually ending up in Colorado Springs, CO.

Many lifelong friends were made at Saint Elizabeth Elementary, and Mater Dei High School; where he was an athlete and student.

He served in the United States Army from 1973 to 1981. Then began a career in 1983 as a Letter Carrier, for the United States Postal Service where he retired from in 2009.

In his spare time, he enjoyed working with his hands, and spending time with friends and family. Some of his hobbies were woodworking, building remote controlled airplanes, and traveling.

Tom is survived by his son, Ryan; daughters-in-law, Lisa and Abby; grandchildren: Aiden, Allison, and Cassius; siblings: Gerald (Jerry), Mary, John, Catherine (Cathy), James (Jim), and Rosalie.

We love you “’til the numbers never stop.”
