Timothy Mark Blackford, age 72, passed away on October 17, 2024. He was a resident of Colorado Springs and Calhan for 40 years and was formerly a resident of Galion, Ohio. He was a welder most of his life and then started his own business doing Auto-Cad. 

Timothy was born on October 4, 1952, to William and Dorothy (Miller) Blackford, in Galion, Ohio. On October 13, 1973, he married Connie Lou Sulser in Galion, Ohio. 

Tim was a passionate outdoorsman with a love for hunting, fishing, and the thrill of panning for gold. He had a deep respect for nature, particularly wolves, and had a passion for telling stories of his experiences in life. Tim’s educational journey included graduating from Galion High School and continuing his studies at Pikes Peak Community College. 

He is survived by his step-children: John Stroup, Denise Sisson (husband Dave Sisson), and Theresa Scott (husband Aaron Scott), all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his sisters, Brenda Delong and Gail Plaster of Galion, Ohio; his grandchildren: Tyler Hutchison, Breanna Gomez, Logan Hutchison, Kyle Jones, and Caleb Jones; and his great-grandchildren, James and Payton. He was preceded in death by both parents, William and Dorothy Blackford, along with his wife, Connie Blackford.
