Ursula McNamer, age 71, passed away on April 25, 2013. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 29 years.
Ursula was born on September 27, 1941 to Karl Buch and Hedwig Roberts in Buttsbach, Germany. On April 24, 1965 she married Martin Leroy McNamer. “Shatz” was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and a huge animal lover. She really enjoyed her trips to Cripple Creek. She had such an appreciation for life.
She is survived by her children: Tina (Joe) Barsh; Christy (Giuseppe) Keith; Martin (Mary) McNamer; Patricia (Corey) Hieb; and her grandchildren: Josh, Serena, Niels, Devin, Natalie, Bryce; and the love of her life, her little tiny.
She was preceded in death by her father, Karl; her mother, Hedwig; her loving husband, Martin; and her dear grandson, Brennan.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. Funeral Services are planned for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Private family burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
