Vicky Dianne Willis passed away on September 17, 2023. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 26 years and was formerly a resident of Georgia and several other places, including Florida, Massachusetts and Alaska. She was in high end furniture sales and design but had many different and interesting jobs over the years.
Vicki was born on January 7, 1950, to Henry Willis and Ruby (Marsh) Willis in Panama City, Florida.
Vicki had a love for travel and new experiences, she had a passion for music, and she loved to dance more than anything. From mountain adventures to her love of the ocean, Vicki enjoyed all things outdoors, but her favorite thing to do was share her infectious laugh with all those close to her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Lindsey Jane Nathan; and her brother, Lt. Colonel Rodney E. Willis. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Willis; her mother, Ruby Willis; and her sisters: Sheila (Willis) McKenzie and Cynthia (Willis) Mixon.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A reception will be held following the memorial at 2:00 pm, at Lindsey Nathan’s home.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation (https://www.parkinson.org/).
