Wanda Jean Wencl, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1958, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. She was a teacher.
Wanda was born on November 10, 1927 to Alva Charles Rodman and Monica Veronica (Arduser) Rodman in Springville, Iowa. She married Robert J. Wencl on June 23, 1951 in Austin, MN. They were married for 67 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Wencl; two daughters, Janet Lee and Jean Cuchiaro; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Susan Abbott.
A service will be planned at a later date. Inurnment will be private.

1 May 2019Bob and Wanda were members of the Good Guys group which consisted of retired school teachers. We all thought very highly of them. We will miss them very much. Our condolences to their family from all the Good Guys.
